I opened the box and was immediately impressed with
the style and function. Setup was a piece of cake. Basically plug it in
and you're ready to go after loading the software. It organizes well on
automatic or manually. You can either let the program choose the tray
for you or you can pick the one you want. There's a place for your own
notes and you can edit the description if the one it chooses doesn't
suit you. If you loan a disk to someone it'll even keep track of it for
you. I don't know how many times I've done this and forgot to get the
disk back. Functionality is just plain simple. My grandmother could
use this with no problems.
Here's a few screenshots to show you what I mean.
The interface for the software is very clean and
simple. It allows for many options as far as most things go. I would
like it a little better if it had a larger area for personal notes.
When storing music there's just not enough room for detailed descriptions.
It will allow for a detailed description but the box for it is just one
line so you have to scroll through it. It's not very convenient or easy
to read. Other than that little thing this is a very nice tool for those
of us that love gadgets.
